1 Peter 3:10
For the Scriptures say, “If you want a happy life and good days, keep your tongue from speaking evil, and keep your lips from telling lies.”When God created us, we were given a full life with almost everything tailor made just for us. Paradise was created just for us. God even gave us the authority over everything that was created for us. Everything was perfect until sinful lies became a part of our makeup. In fact, paradise was lost because Adam chose to believe the father of lies (see John 8:44) instead of the Father of truth (see John 14:6). To begin the road to regaining the full life that you were meant to live, there's a simple solution: know your Father of truth personally. When you know and understand the truth, center your tongue to speak no evil words and to keep your lips clean and free from lies.
