Matthew 7:12
Do for others what you would like them to do for you.A story has it that King Philip of Macedonia fell asleep while hearing a case, and that as he suddenly awoke without having all the facts of the case together, the king passed an unjust sentence upon the man who was on trial. Shocked by the sentence, the doomed man cried out, “I appeal!” Philip became upset and asked him, “And to whom do you appeal?” The man replied, “From the king who was sleeping to the king who is now awake.” The king was so moved by the man’s logical appeal that he reversed the judgment. Nobody is perfect or all knowing. We all make mistakes, so always be fair when dealing with people and what you might deem faultiness. Let God be your influence to be fair and just.
