Instead of believing what they knew was the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies. So they worshiped the things God made but not the Creator himself, who is to be praised forever. Amen.I read about a small weekly newspaper that was having a tough time filling one of their weekly columns. The senior editor had his compositor set up the Ten Commandments, and the newspaper ran them without making any editorial comments. Three days after that edition was released, the senior editor received a letter saying, “Please cancel my subscription. Your newspaper is getting too personal.” When the Word of God is no longer accepted as the voice that can correct man, people begin to feel that they can run their own affairs without Divine guidance. We say to God, “Mind your own business.” George Washington wrote, “It is impossible to rightly govern without God and the Bible?” Telling God to mind His own business is a really bad idea. Instead, acknowledge that He is in control of your life and accept that He can bless your life.
