Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you teach, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.
Many years ago as a young pastor, I found that it was difficult for people that were older than me to receive and accept my leadership because of my age. General Douglas MacArthur once said that, "Youth is a state of mind, it is not entirely a time of life, not wholly a matter of ripe cheeks, red lips, or supple knees. It is a temper of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions, a freshness of the deep springs of life. It means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity, of an appetite for adventure over love of ease." Let no man stop you from serving God at any age. Always remember that it is always a great privilege to serve God whatever age you might be.
