Then the King will say to those
on the right, 'Come, you who
are blessed by my Father, inherit
the Kingdom prepared for you from
the foundation of the world.'
What God created from the beginning was never meant to be a religion. He created a kingdom. When man was created, Genesis 1:26 tells us of man's dominion, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” Kingdom translates easily to “king’s domain,” or better yet, “king’s dominion.” With this thought in mind, Jesus taught the disciples to pray to the Father in Matthew 6:9-10 when He said, "This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." Anyone can be a part of God’s kingdom by making Jesus their personal Lord and Savior. He’s actually invited you already when He said, “Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” When you’re a child of God, you begin your journey toward that which you were always designed for – membership in the King's royal family.
