RELIGION WON'T SAVE YOU

1 Timothy 2:5

For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and people. He is the man Christ Jesus.

Since the beginning of time, people have been trying to communicate God. Men have established religion after religion to satisfy the longing hunger to know the true Supreme Being. The problem is that religion is a weak attempt by man to reach God. It's not religion that opens up the lines of communication with God, but rather it's coming to accept that Jesus is the only mediator between God and people. Without accepting Christ as the Way, man's search for a connection to God will never end. 1 John 5:20 says, “And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we are in God because we are in his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life.” Reaching God is something that people aren't capable of pulling off on their own. The Son of God had to reach out to all of humanity for there to be any kind of relationship. You can't do it on your own or through a religious body. It's only through Jesus and His gift of redemption.
