REPETITION IS THE MOTHER OF LEARNING

Deuteronomy 6:5-9
And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are away on a journey, when you are lying down and when you are getting up again. Tie them to your hands as a reminder, and wear them on your forehead. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
I remember being told a story about a young mother who had her infant boy in her lap and was reading her Bible to her little one. A curious person asked, “Do you think the baby understands?” The young mother said, “I’m sure that he doesn’t understand now, but I want his earliest memories to be that of hearing God’s Word.” I remembered the saying, “The hands that rock the cradle hold the nation.” We need to learn about Jesus first to teach about Him. If we make sure that our children learn about God first before other things, surely we will have a moral Godly nation and world. This little change can change everything.
