And forgive us our sins —
just as we forgive those
who have sinned against us.
And don't let us yield to temptation.
As Christians we need to remember that our journey takes us toward the success that God has designed for us. If our walk is straight, we can reach our goal at the exact time God designed. However, there are two things that can delay or hinder this journey towards success: temptation and an unforgiving spirit. When we fall into temptation, blessings are slow to come and we find ourselves in need of God’s forgiveness. An unforgiving spirit requires you to follow God’s command and forgive those who have sinned against you. To remove this hindrance, tell the person that wrong you, “You’re forgiven,” and never speak of that trial again. Are you harboring any unforgiving feelings today?
