We know that we are children of God
and that the world around us is under
the power and control of the evil one.
While this verse unveils is a hard reality, it still speaks the truth. It explains why people sometimes behave the way they do. Everyone in this world is either under God’s power or the evil one’s power. The way for us to be under God's power is to be reconciled through the Lord Jesus Christ. Outside of Jesus, you fall under the power of the evil one. Romans 5:10 tells us, “For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!” If you’re seeking victory and peace, be sure to place yourself under the power and control of God.
