Look at those who are honest and good,
for a wonderful future lies
before those who love peace.
This world has never experienced real peace since man fell into sin because the world neglects to actually know peace. I once read about a hermit who renounced the world and lost all of his worldly possessions, yet he still found no peace. In his isolation he felt so lonely that it seemed the Lord was asking for something more from the hermit. The hermit yelled out loud, “I have given you everything!” The Lord replied, “All but one thing… your sins.” Be honest with yourself. If you are living in sin, you will never have peace. Choose peace, be honest and good. So, are you living in a sin?
