IS IT GREENER OVER THERE?

What do others have that you’re envious about? Matthew 27:18 says, “He knew very well that the Jewish leaders had arrested Jesus out of envy.” Envy will always lead us to do the wrong things. A cartoonist once drew two mules in two fields separated by a fence. Both fields were about the same size and each had plenty of the same kind of green lush grass. Even then, each mule had his head through the fence eating grass from the other mule’s pasture even though they both had fields with plenty of grass. Somehow these mules thought (much like us!) that the grass was greener on the other side of the fence, even though that grass was harder to get to. What happened next is that the mules got caught in the wire fencing and were unable to free themselves. When we look at what others have and the failures that we have, envy is birthed and we become entangled by the wrong desires that lead to the wrongs actions. Be content with what you have – it’s probably pretty green right where you are.

woww this is so truee !

sometimes we devote so much of our attention to looking at all the great things OTHER people have that we forget all of the AMAZING things that WE have.

we should always have a grateful attitude and be happy for other people in their success.

Envy is one of the natural sin that people have. Adam and Eve ate the fruit of knowledge because they envy God. Lucifer (SATAN) envy God. One of the things that we inherit when were born is envy. Many times I get envy too. But we should try to see things that God gave us. When I'm envy I always talk to God. I always pray that I might not see other things rather than see the things that I have. We should try to see things that we have even it is small. God is our provider and our strength. If you think always that you can't have this and that. Maybe you have a little faith your God is so small that He can't provide you. Have a huge faith!!!!!You will see how God works in our lives....

That is exactly right. I always think that way before until God sent back me where i was before (domolpos). now I realize that My mission in the mountains is green indeed.
