YOU ARE HOLY

Exodus 26:33 says, “When the inner curtain is in place, put the Ark of the Covenant behind it. This curtain will separate the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place.” No one was permitted to enter the interior of the Most Holy Place except the high priest once a year. When Jesus said His very last words on the cross, the temple veil that separated the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place was ripped into two pieces from the top to the bottom. Although the point of the veil tearing at Jesus’ death may be that God provides access for all people into His presence, it more likely indicates the departure of God from the temple. The scripture proves that He moved His residency from the temple made by hands to every person who would receive Him. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, “don't you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.” Never forget who you are, you were made holy by God’s presence in your life.
