1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is at the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.It’s so easy to violate God’s process for experiencing a blessed life. Many people choose to pursue wealth before committing one's life to God when the proper approach would be to commit one's life to God before pursuing wealth. Matthew 6:33 even pointedly tells us, “And he will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.” Our primary concern should be to love God, and God’s concern is to love us and provide our needs. Don’t even bother trying to change or improve upon the process. Just obey His instructions and you’ll not wander towards a faith that leads to sorrow.
