Those who know your name
trust in you, for you, O LORD,
have never abandoned anyone
who searches for you.
A police car pulled up to the house of an elderly couple and an elderly man got out of the car. The police officer explained to an elderly woman at the house that he found her husband lost in the park. ''Why, Bill,” said the elderly woman, “you’ve been going there for over 30 years, how could you get lost?'' Leaning close to the old lady so the police officer couldn't hear, he whispered, ''Dear, I wasn't exactly lost. I was just too tired to walk home.'' You might be tired from all the wear and tear of life’s journey, but don’t worry – Jesus will never abandon you. He will always be there for you, ready and waiting to give you comfort and to take you home.
