If you need wisdom —
if you want to know what
God wants you to do — ask him,
and he will gladly tell you.
He will not resent your asking.
Have you asked God what He really wants from you? We usually find ourselves asking God for something, but not for what He wants from us. When you start asking God about what He wants you to give Him, you’re changed from being the loved one to being a lover. This is God’s goal for everyone. 1 Corinthians 8:3 says, “But the person who loves God is the one God knows and cares for.” Take the time and get to know what God wants from you. You might find the results to be enlightening. You'll probably find yourself the recipient of His blessing.
