POOR TIMING

2 Timothy 2:22
Run from anything that stimulates youthful lust.
Follow anything that makes you want to do right.
Pursue faith and love and peace,
and enjoy the companionship of those
who call on the Lord with pure hearts.

The devil's greatest detour for today’s youth are relationships built on bad timing. Anything not delivered at just the right time can be plain annoying, so there are a lot of quickie weddings and teen pregnancies (which typically lead to abortions) that are the results of poorly-timed relationships. Students should be students and not complicate matters with quick and emotional relationships that they may not be prepared for – just like the Apostle Paul taught about when saying that we should run from anything that stimulates youthful lust. You can ignore this very principle, but the consequences are still there to deal with if that principle is violated.

WOW! amen! God has a purpose for us & just like you wrote.. "students should be students". right now i am a student, and that is why He has blessed the ASPM so much because that is our ministry AND mission for Him and in Him which is located in the school with students (= hehe.

in God's timing, He will bless you nonetheless.. as long as we stick to His TRUTH & stop searching for love because true LOVE is found in our Lord & Savior.

God bless everybody! and hope you are well in Texas Pjunds!! take care.

so true. as I heard somebody made a comment in one of our Bible Studies that satan had been in this business for more than 2000 or 3000 years. he knows his thing and makes sure that he wull use something that will really make us fall into his trap. the verse perfectly warns us... "to run away from it!!!"
let us keep our focus in Jesus and His perfect will for our lives. let us stay and stick close to HIM.

God's timing is PERFECT! When it comes to relationship don't go seeking one.Just pray and ask the Lord to send you someone, and he will send you the best man/woman for you. There may be test and trials along the way but God wants you to focus on him first, give him your all and the man of your dreams will come. This is a situation that I'm going through I finally figured out that God wants all of me first before I can give myself to someone else. I have to wait patiently, but God knows whats best for me! Stay encourage God doesn't make mistakes!
