THE RIGHT STUFF

Matthew 3:15
But Jesus said, "It must be done,
because we must do everything that is right."
So then John baptized him.

The Bible goes silent about Jesus’ life after the incident where Joseph and Mary found the young Jesus teaching in the temple. Jesus told them in Luke 2:49, "You should have known that I would be in my Father's house." The last words about the young Savior are found in Luke 2:52, "So Jesus grew both in height and in wisdom, and he was loved by God and by all who knew him." The examples that Jesus set even from the time He was a young boy were all about doing what’s right. He never made excuses and He didn’t use his authority to exempt himself from the processes of earthly life. In a modern context, these principles came alive when General Montgomery began his command in North Africa to rescue the allied forces, he said, "My commands are to be carried out; Orders no longer form the basis for discussion, but for action." As history would tell, Montgomery delivered victories in battle after battle. Likewise, when we do what’s right and obey God’s exact instructions as found in His Word, our victory is certain and our battles won.

i always think that during the life of Jesus here on earth is of the supernatural thingy... you know... Him being the Son of God. But i came to realize that He was 100% man at that time and was subject to the same problems as what we have right now... recession?; relationships?... even more than that because inspite of Him doing the people around Him they still rejected Him. WOW! what a life He had here in the world whom He had created. Yet He went through in all of these and declared VICTORY in all of the circumstances.
