Romans 13:14
But let the Lord Jesus Christ take
control of you, and don't think
of ways to indulge your evil desires.



Our evil desires and action are what brings trouble into our lives. Peter L. Ream of Home Life said that, “If alcoholism is a disease, it is the only disease that we approved; the only disease that is licensed to propagate; the only disease that is sold and promotes crime; it is habit-forming; a disease that is spread by advertising approved by the government; and the only disease that is given as a Christmas present.” Paul said in Ephesians 5:18, “Don't be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, let the Holy Spirit fill and control you.” The reality is quite stark that the ways of the world can truly ruin you and all the blessings that are meant for you. Trust and obey the Holy Word and let Jesus take control of your life.
