TREASURES

Ephesians 3:8
Just think! Though I did nothing to deserve it,
and though I am the least deserving Christian there is,
I was chosen for this special joy of telling the Gentiles
about the endless treasures available to them in Christ.



When I was younger, I was assigned to assist on four sea explorations in search of, “The Yamashita Treasures.” The faces of the treasure hunters were always filled with excitement, anticipation and hope. They would willingly pour out their time, resources and lives to find the targeted treasure. Sometimes, I can even plainly remember the feeling of danger aboard the search ships. There is, of course, a bigger treasure that will last well beyond our earthly lives and that is the treasure of the Lord Jesus Christ. If you seek His kingdom first, earthly treasures like “The Yamashita Treasures” will be added unto you. Get with the program, are you seeking Jesus' kingdom first?
